Every Monday and Thursday night, The Hummingbird Stage & Taproom and James Wolfe play host to our famous darts tournament. No cost to play, and darts are provided. What can you win you ask? Well, how does free beer sound? Overall winning team also receives a bar tab! That is called a win/win. Make sure to arrive before 7:30 so that you can sign up.

Utopia live at The Hummingbird

On May 24th, The Hummingbird will transform into UTOPIA!
Join us in Utopia as some of Middle Georgia's most talented DJs take the stage for a night full of energy and free expression. We're bringing in extra lights, lasers, and spark showers to provide an experience like Macon has never seen! We will also be featuring some of the hardest working artists in vendors in the area on the patio outside.
Pickles Productions is providing us with all the cool stage effects! Pickles travels the world searching for musical influences from different cultures to bring to his events at home. His ability to blend them seamlessly with popular favorites is what makes his sets so special.
S!KE is an incredible DJ who really knows how to bring the energy. His sets are full of hard hitting dubstep and trap beats that are sure to please.
Graphick will also be joining us as our visual artist. Ky is an exceptional VJ with many years of experience. His live visual displays are always highly praised.

First Friday feat. Wim Tapley & the Cannons live at The Hummingbird

DC native, but now-established Athens artist, Wim Tapley released his newest full-length album, Red Door , earlier this month. From his first single in 2018, Tapley was always a promising artist and his recent success selling out the Georgia Theatre—not to mention the steady pace of releases he’s cranked out—are evidence of him fulfilling that promise. The new album is an incredibly well-produced record that showcases Tapley’s expansive songwriting style. Significantly, though, he can craft down-home, emotional whimsy like “Well Tequila” and lovelorn alt-country like “Errands,” and place them right alongside of neo-soul burners like “Talk To Me” and “Jefe.”

We're celebrating 19 years of good times in Downtown Macon with a STRICTLY local lineup of music!  Come enjoy cheap drinks and support our local musicians Bob & Blender, Caleb Melvin, Darin & Chin, Matt McMillan & the City Limits, and Social Battery starting at 5pm.  DJ UH-OH will get the Late Night Party started at 11pm!
