Jesse R.S.
is a Denver-based indie rock band with folk and funk influences. The five piece band has a unique addictive sound with their direct hooks and energetic style which thrives in a live setting. Jesse RS combines the elements of storytelling songwriting, a tight-knit rhythm section and such auxiliary sounds as saxophone, clarinet, ukulele and Irish whistle to create a musical blend to appeal to variety of musical tastes. Band members cite such musical influences as Led Zeppelin, The Temptations and Dave Matthews Band when shaping their individual tastes and sounds, yet as a whole, Jesse RS avoids mimicking these timeless groups.
