Founded in late 2016 in Atlanta, GA, The Twotakes wasted no time releasing their self-made debut album and immediately jumping on the road to support it and spread the word. In the short amount of time since, the band has managed to tour across a large portion of the country, secure an ever-growing following in their region, play with a wide range of national acts, and release two new singles that will appear on the follow up album they are currently wrapping up. With 2019 already shaping up to be a productive year, The Twotakes are showing no signs of letting up any time soon.

While drawing inspiration from bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, and Young The Giant, The Twotakes debut album “Submarine Races” provides a unique, alternative rock sound with hints of nostalgia wrapped in a freshness that can’t be ignored. Their new singles show them harnessing some of those themes, while coming into themselves even more and shedding some light on what is sure to be a powerful follow up.
