Travers Brothership is the brainchild of twin brothers Eric and Kyle Travers.

The Travers Brothers acknowledged a shared love for music early on, and began learning how to play music at age seven. Assisted by their Father and musician, Robert Travers, the Brothers began performing live at age twelve in and around their hometown, Asheville N.C.

Beginning to play music together at such a young age evoked an eclectic musical taste in the brothers, inspiring them to become the multi-instrumentalists they are today.

“The dynamic of the twin brothers is obviously in the blood. Their vocals blend perfectly and the songwriting they create together is divine.” –Jade Rudolph, KZKO Radio (Denver, CO)

In 2007 the Travers Brothers formed an Alternative Rock, Funk, and Blues quartet, Travers Brothers Band, with multi instrumentalists Ian McIsaac and Joshua Clark. Featuring a diverse writing style and an intriguing live performance, the band flourished in the Southeast region of the United States, and released a self-titled album of original songs in 2011.

In the fall of 2012, the members of TBB agreed they desired a broader sound and began seeking musicians to fulfill this vision. After much consideration, trombonist Kyle Snuffer, trumpeter Alex Bradley, and saxophonists Dean Mitchell and Jamie Berlyn were added to ranks.

With the newly evolved lineup, the band was ready to begin anew with a different approach. Reinventing musical performance was a desire rooted firmly in their souls. The band wanted to create a unique sound that reflected upon influences such as Tedeschi Trucks Band, Galactic, The Black Keys, The Allman Brothers Band, P-Funk, CSNY, Modest Mouse, Umphrey’s McGee, and B.B. King.

The result is a new groove of epic proportions. With the use of electric or acoustic instruments; Travers Brothership projects a wide variety of music making each concert unique. Travers Brothership performs live with 4 to 8 musicians, performing a vast repertoire of original and covered music. Utilizing the Travers Brothers’ roots of Soulful Blues, Rock, Funk, Jazz and Improvisational jam, the band covers all the bases. Travers Brothership’s goal is to provide an atmosphere that conveys a message of community and emotional fulfillment with grooves that are sure to get you on the dance floor.

“The band are consummate musicians, jam-band aficionados with a deep understanding of their preferred genre. Put simply, they rock, and in doing so, their enthusiasm, gusto and talents carry the day.” –Robert F, Leicester Bangs

Next, Travers Brothership embarked from Asheville, NC on a yearlong tour December 31st 2012. The tour consisted of 89 stops across the united states; resulting in the birth of a national following firmly rooted in the Southeast.

In between 2013 tour dates, Travers Brothership stopped to record at Real Sound Studios in North Carolina. These mid-tour recording sessions resulted in their debut, self-titled EP. Featuring 4 songs, the Travers Brothership EP reached Number 1 on Reverb Nation’s Alternative charts for Asheville N.C, and peaked in the top 20 on Reverb’s Alternative Global Charts.

Following the success of their debut release, the band embarked on a second national tour in 2014. Supporting globally renowned acts such as Taj Mahal, Robert Randolph, Blues Traveler, Moon Taxi and The Travelin’ McCourys.

The band began work on their first full-length album with Grammy award winning producer, Juan “Pericles” Covas at the state of the art, Full Sail Studios in 2014. Covas has worked with acts such as, Carlos Santana and Bob Marley and the Brothership is delighted to have him aboard .The band is now finishing up these recordings in their hometown, Asheville N.C. and the album is scheduled for release in 2015.

“This is a band that possesses a soulful magic and heart you don’t find in many young bands. This is real art.” –Danny Harlen Mote, Lucky Trend Music.

The Aquaducks have been making waves in and around Music City as a high octane funk and soul band with a live energy that is rarely matched.
